Benefits of Summer School

Benefits of Summer School

There’s more to summer school than you think. Many parents think of it in terms of remediation, making up for failed courses or problem subject areas. While those are valid reasons for hitting the books during vacation time, there are other important advantages to summer learning.

Summer school can keep the average student on track and prevent him from losing important educational ground.  For the exceptional student it can open up new worlds propelling him toward academic excellence.

"Summer is the ideal time for students to highlight their individual assets and personalize their education," comments Stacy Costa, Founder of School Answers Academic Success Center in Colts Neck.

Smaller classes are a plus for any student, helping with more individualized attention and increased learning potential.  Summer school could also help your child emotionally by boosting self-esteem.  Continued classes help students stick to a routine making it easier to return to the classroom in the fall.

School Answers offers summer school options for children K-12. Younger students can benefit from our Summer Smarts program offering language arts and math courses at our Colts Neck facility.  They can also take advantage of online technology courses.

High Schoolers can choose from 100 online courses through International Connections Academy (iNaCa). These courses can be taken for original credits or to recover from a failing grade.

Our New Jersey certified teachers are also available for Blended Learning instruction.

Find out more about our Summer Smarts offerings by clicking here or our online courses here. You can also contact us on our website or call 1-732-865-1900.

At School Answers we believe all children are smart and we help unlock that potential.
